Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

MyVidya (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Traxof Technologies Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

By accessing or using MyVidya, you acknowledge and consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect identity information, educational activity data, device information, institutional data, uploaded content, attendance information, quiz responses, AI-generated analytics, and assessment-related metadata.

2. Audio, Video & Proctoring Systems

Certain modules may require camera access, microphone access, screen sharing, screen recording, AI-assisted proctoring, identity verification, and behavioral analysis systems.

Certain proctoring workflows may temporarily process facial imagery, behavioral signals, or identity-verification inputs strictly for academic integrity, authentication, and examination security purposes.

Such permissions are requested explicitly and are never enabled silently.

3. AI & Recommendation Systems

MyVidya may use artificial intelligence, machine learning systems, recommendation systems, automated evaluation systems, and behavioral analytics.

MyVidya’s analytics, recommendation systems, behavioral indicators, and AI-generated insights are assistive educational tools only and must not be interpreted as medical, psychiatric, psychological, employment, or legally binding evaluations.

4. Minors & Guardian Consent

Institution-Managed Accounts

Educational institutions act as the primary Data Fiduciaries and are solely responsible for ensuring lawful parental or guardian authorization before onboarding minors onto the Platform. The Institution agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Traxof Technologies Private Limited against any regulatory penalties, claims, or liabilities arising from a failure to secure valid parental consent.

Direct Individual Accounts

Minors may not independently create accounts outside institutional onboarding workflows. Parent or legal guardian authorization is mandatory, and the parent assumes full contractual responsibility for all activities conducted under the account.

5. Consent Logging

The Platform may maintain records of consent, permission grants, policy acceptance timestamps, IP logs, and assessment-access authorization events for compliance, audit, fraud prevention, and legal defense purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We may share information with associated educational institutions, authorized administrators, infrastructure providers, integrated systems, legal authorities, and trusted service providers operating under confidentiality obligations.

7. Data Retention & Erasure

Personal data is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the specific educational and operational purposes outlined in this policy.

Upon the termination or expiration of an institutional agreement, or upon a verified user deletion request, all associated personally identifiable information (PII) will be securely purged or irreversibly anonymized within ninety (90) days, except where statutory compliance, tax audits, or valid legal directives require extended retention.

8. Anonymized Data & Model Optimization

Notwithstanding any data erasure requests or contract terminations, MyVidya explicitly retains the perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable right to convert active user datasets into permanently anonymized, de-identified metadata.

Once data is stripped of personal identifiers, it ceases to be personal data under applicable law. Traxof utilizes this aggregated operational telemetry, quiz performance history, and system usage logs strictly for internal research, algorithmic refinement, and the optimization of MyVidya’s AI recommendation systems.

9. Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. However, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security.

10. Prohibited Conduct & Terms Integration

Users are strictly prohibited from cheating, bypassing assessments, reverse engineering, scraping data, or abusing AI/proctoring modules. A violation of these rules constitutes a material breach of platform integrity.

Contractual Integration: This Privacy Policy is legally incorporated into, and forms an inseparable part of, the MyVidya Terms of Use. All claims, liabilities, or disputes arising out of data processing, privacy, or this policy are strictly subject to the liability caps, indemnification provisions, and dispute resolution mechanisms specified in the Terms of Use.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or data grievance arising hereunder shall be strictly and exclusively resolved via the binding arbitration framework detailed in Section 11 of the MyVidya Terms of Use, with the physical venue and seat of arbitration remaining in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
